Focus on COP28 | Damon Runs out Green Transformation Acceleration in Peak Carbon Dioxide Emission Pilot City

From November 30th to December 12th, 2023, the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) was held in Dubai Expo City, United Arab Emirates. The conference aims to achieve the climate goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, while increasing climate finance for developing countries and urgently scaling up investment in climate adaptation.

Peak carbon dioxide emission and carbon neutrality is an important strategy for China to cope with the challenge of climate change. Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission issued an announcement to determine the first batch of dioxide emission pilot cities and parks in 25 cities and 10 parks across the country, and Huzhou City was successfully selected as one of only two pilot cities in Zhejiang Province. At present, Huzhou is vigorously promoting the comprehensive reform of green and low-carbon innovation through mechanisms such as "project carbon assessment + transformation finance" and "carbon accounting + carbon budget", and actively explores diversified paths to cope with global climate change and accelerate global energy transformation. Green Solutions

Damon's self-developed intelligent conveying sorting equipment is driven by power rollers and permanent magnet linear motors, which reduces energy consumption by 20%-25% compared with ordinary motors, and can reduce the carbon dioxide emissions of a single conveyor by 962.5Kg. It is estimated that after customers use Damon's intelligent logistics system, system project’s overall energy efficiency can be increased by more than 15%, the energy saving can be as high as 20%-40%, helps global customers to achieve zero emissions and zero energy consumption logistics transportation.
