On April 21, 2026, Damon Technology and MaiQing Intelligence jointly unveiled OmniEgo, the world’s first end-to-end data collection pipeline for first-person (ego-centric) embodied intelligence. Designed to overcome obstacles such as inefficient data collection, high costs, and limited versatility, OmniEgo aims to break through the bottlenecks in the large-scale supply of embodied intelligence data. As a result, the domestic embodied intelligence sector is poised to reach a pivotal moment in the application of the Scaling Law.
The year 2026 has been widely recognized as the dawn of embodied data, with embodied intelligence data stemming from four core sources: Ego data, UMI-type data, real-device remote operation data, and simulation data. Among these, first-person Ego data is the only main stream of embodied data capable of achieving internet-scale scalability, and it is currently the most certain and high-potential direction. With the explosion of supply and the influx of capital and tech giants, Ego data has evolved from an optional feature to a survival necessity for the industry.
Currently, the embodied intelligence and robotics industries face significant obstacles to development: data collection is inefficient, of poor quality, costly, and difficult to scale. Traditional approaches rely on a large number of robot platforms and dedicated data collection facilities, with data collected through manual remote operation. This not only requires massive investment and takes a long time but also creates “data silos” due to inconsistent data formats across different devices. As a result, data is not widely applicable or reusable, severely limiting the generalizability of models and the speed of industrial deployment.
In contrast, EOG eye-tracking data is limited to niche applications such as gaze tracking and human-computer interaction; it cannot serve as mainstream data for training embodied intelligence models and is not a primary focus of the industry.
OmniEgo uses humans as the primary data collectors, leveraging head-mounted devices to achieve first-person, full-modal replication, enabling companion-style, immersive data collection in real-life, industrial production, and logistics operations. A single user can consistently collect data for over 8 hours per day, and a team of 1,000 users can generate over 200,000 hours of valid data per month. Compared to traditional solutions, data collection efficiency has increased by more than 10 times, while total costs have been reduced by 80%. The cost per hour of data has dropped to one-fifth of that of traditional methods. This enables the rapid establishment of a diverse, scalable, and high-quality embodied data production system, providing a stable "data fuel" for training embodied intelligence models.

As the industry’s first integrated end-to-end pipeline for data collection, cleaning, self-labeling, and quality inspection, OmniEgo leverages its proprietary OmniEngine data processing engine to achieve millimeter-level precision in hand pose estimation and 3D reconstruction from a first-person perspective. Combined with customized, interference-resistant Ego-SLAM sub-centimeter positioning technology, it achieves over 85% self-labeling coverage, overall processing efficiency has increased by 90%, redefining the standard for high-quality first-person data collection and turning the concept of large-scale data supply into reality.

Damon Technology has established the world’s first training and multimodal data collection center for embodied robots in logistics scenarios. The center supports unified data collection and training validation for robots of various models, forms, and technical solutions, and is compatible with a full spectrum of hardware platforms, including humanoid robots, mobile operation robots, and various joint modules. It has established a fully closed-loop process encompassing data collection, cleaning, annotation, and model training, thereby accumulating massive amounts of high-value real-world operational data for intelligent logistics.
The OmniEgo technology release is dedicated to achieving standardized and universal data processing across device models and architectures, increasing data reusability by 80% and boosting model generalization capabilities by more than threefold. Damon Technology is officially opening its full-stack first-person data collection capabilities to global technology companies, research institutions, and industry partners, offering standardized data services and customized solutions tailored to different hardware and technical approaches, thereby providing one-stop support for large-scale deployment across multiple device models and scenarios.
Building on its Globalization 2.0 strategy, Damon will leverage a dual-engine approach of “globalization and innovation” to establish localized data collection nodes in key markets across the Asia-Pacific, North America, and Europe, thereby building a global embodied data network that supports multiple scenarios, languages, and operating conditions.

With this launch, Damon Technology has announced its three-year strategic goals: to deeply deploy OmniEgo across vertical sectors such as industrial logistics handling, logistics sorting, factory production lines, retail services, security patrols, and healthcare services; to combine this with real-world data collection from the humanoid robot training center; and to rapidly assemble a “10,000-person” embodied data collection team, achieving an annual output of tens of millions of hours of high-quality embodied data.
Looking ahead, Damon will continue to collaborate with global partners to establish data standards and share data assets, building a world-leading data foundation for embodied intelligence. By leveraging high-quality first-person data to drive the implementation of physical AI across all industries, we will propel embodied intelligence into a new phase of development characterized by scalability, globalization, and standardization.
