Damon has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Zhiyuan to jointly pioneer a data-driven era of logistics robotics
Damon Group officially entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Zhiyuan New Creation Technology Co., Ltd. Shawn Huang, responsible for the strategy of Damon Group, and Zhan Kun, responsible for the strategy of Zhiyuan Robots, signed the agreement on behalf of Damon and Zhiyuan. Harry Zhuo, the chairman of Damon Group, and Deng Taihua, the chairman of Zhiyuan Robots, along with other leaders from both sides, were present at the scene to witness the signing of this significant agreement.
The relationship between humanoid robot algorithms and hardware is like a "soul and body" symbiosis. Data, acting as the core link for intelligence upgrading, enables the leap from "mechanical execution" to "intelligent decision-making". It serves as the robot's "sensory nerves and memory bank", driving their "intelligent evolution" and defining "application boundaries". The quality and quantity of data directly cap the robot's intelligence. Without data, humanoid robots can't work, study or improve effectively.
Nowadays, humanoid robots are moving from a smart motion control era dominated by hardware to a data-driven embodied intelligence era. They are being widely used in various industries and work scenarios. Logistics is seen as the ideal initial application area. Damon, a leading Chinese provider of intelligent logistics equipment and solutions, is partnering deeply with Zhiyuan, a top humanoid robotics company. This signals the start of an era where humanoid robots are applied in data-driven operational scenarios.
In this collaboration, Zhiyuan will assist Damon in creating a "Damon Humanoid Robot Data Collection Factory" for logistics operations. Damon, leveraging its expertise, will develop applications for humanoid robots in logistics, conduct training, and collect data. It will also explore innovative uses of humanoid robots in intelligent logistics. Using Damon's global clients and projects base, this aims to quickly achieve commercial delivery of data-driven operational applications, from the training facility to demo sites, to clients. In the future, robots will act as data collection terminals and application platforms at operational sites, advancing the integration of the physical and digital parts.
In this collaboration, both parties will deeply cooperate on the data assetization of the "Damon Data Collection Factory." They'll innovate a new business model based on data trading of humanoid robot embodied large-model, aiming to achieve global transactions of Damon's embodied large-model data.
Both sides agree to fully leverage their strengths and capabilities. They'll deeply cooperate in multiple fields, including establishing a large-scale humanoid robot data collection center, joint R & D and sales of humanoid robot applications in smart logistics, and joint R & D and application of core humanoid robot components.
From "mechanical execution" to "intelligent collaboration": Humanoid robots empowered by big data will reshape the "unmanned logistics" industry. As they enter logistics operations on a large scale, logistics will evolve from the "movement of goods" to "data - driven service interaction," and this era has now begun.
